SEO

The SEO tab for online submission form or Campaign Management System, enables us to configure Search Engine Optimization, making it easier for our website to rank higher in search engine results. This page is closely linked to the Index Page module, enhancing our website’s overall visibility and performance.

Step 1: Set the general advanced settings

  • OG URL : The preferred URL of the webpage used by social media platforms to display relevant information when the page is shared. Please insert the Open Graph URL for your fan page. This URL should be clean and unmodified, without any session variables, user identification parameters, or counters. Likes and shares for this URL should be consolidated onto this specific URL. For instance, the mobile domain URL should redirect to the desktop version URL as the standard URL to aggregate likes and shares from different versions of the fan page.
  • OG Title : The title of your article, excluding any brand content such as the website name. This title will also serve as the campaign title for the index page.
  • OG Description : A concise description of the content, typically consisting of 2 to 4 sentences. This brief description will be displayed below the title of a Facebook post. It will also represent the campaign description of the index page.
  • OG Image : The image used to visually represent shared web pages or content on social media platforms. It is specified using meta tags in the webpage’s HTML code and appears alongside the post when shared, providing a preview of the content. This image will also reflect the campaign image of the index page. Hint: Optimal image sizes – W1200 x H628.
  • OG Type : The media type of your content. This tag determines how your content is displayed in dynamic messages. If no type is specified, it will default to “website”. Each URL should correspond to a single object, so multiple “og:type” values are not possible. Please consult the object type reference for a complete list of object types. It influences how the content is displayed and understood by social platforms, ensuring accurate representation. Common OG Types include articles, websites, videos, and music.
  • OG Locale : Supported regions. The default is en_US. If you have available translations in other languages, you can also use og:locale:alternate. For a more comprehensive understanding of the regions we support, please refer to our localization documentation.
  • Meta Description : This tag provides a brief description for web pages. In certain cases, this description is displayed as a snippet of code in search results.
  • KeyWords : Specific words or phrases strategically selected and incorporated into website content to optimize search engine rankings. These keywords are relevant to the webpage’s topic or theme and are commonly used by people when performing online searches. By including targeted keywords in the website’s content, meta tags, headings, and other elements, SEO aims to improve the website’s visibility and attract organic traffic from search engines.
  • Facebook App ID : To use Facebook Insights, you need to add an application ID to your Facebook Fan Page. Insights allows you to view traffic analytics for your website from Facebook. You can find the application ID in your application dashboard.
  • Campaign Tags : Tags added to the system to enable tracking and display of campaigns on the index page based on these tags.

Step 2: Click on the “Save” button to save your SEO’s settings.
